At Stone Horse Outfitters, we have been Hunting Moose in our area for over 30 years. Over the past 4 years, we have been selling hunts to a low volume of hunters who are looking for an exciting rut hunt with Archery Equipment. Or to a rifle hunter who is looking to track down a trophy moose with snow on the ground. With the focus on trophy quality being the driver in our area, we have been able to take some great moose over the years!
If you are willing to hunt hard and put in the time we can find you a bull you will be extremely pleased with. We have the option of hunting remotely or hunting locally with fly-in options. We focus on low-volume HIGH-quality hunts.
Alberta is known to be the home to Canadian moose. With that being said, you can expect to see bulls that will vary from 35" up to the impressive size of 50"+. We have been fortunate enough to have a 90% success rate on our archery hunts and a 100% success rate on our rifle hunts! Whether you choose the 7 or 10-day hunt, you will be hunting in the Northern Boreal Forrest and Ag area out of a forest wall tent or in a cabin.
